The knife is made of stainless steel and the handle of a biobased plastic. The handle consists of a combination of sugar cane with wood fibers from Scandinavian spruce. Due to the use of these materials and the way of processing, the ecological footprint is up to 60% lower than with a handle with plastic. The knife has a length of 22.5 centimeters and is provided with a hole for hanging. After use, the spreading knife can be placed in the dishwasher.
